Thallus off-white to pale greenish white, smooth, slightly glossy. Ascomata conspicuous, numerous, sessile, white, straight, curved or sinuous, sometimes branched, 2–8 mm long, 0.5–1.0 mm wide. Proper exciple non-carbonised; thalline margin conspicuous; disc smooth, white-pruinose, exposing the black epihymenium when abraded. Hymenium 200–250 µm thick, I+ pale blue at the margin. Ascospores 1 (–2) per ascus, muriform, 130–160 × 30–36 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Protocetraric acid. |

This corticolous species is known from one locality in north-eastern Qld; also in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and Indonesia. | ||
